Geology
There are many different types of geological formations that can be found
on the watershed of Floyds Fork. With each different geological formation, there are
specific characteristics that determine what can and cannot be built on them.
Limiting factors for geological formations are steep slopes, shallow depth to bedrock,
sinkholes, cesspools, impermeability, susceptibility to erosion, and high water table
and/or subject to periodic flooding.
