occurred throughout the exciting history of the Floyds Fork watershed. Here you will find
information on many historic events that have transpired over the two century history of
this cultural mecca of heritage.
Many times
in its storied past, the tranquil surroundings have been ravished by savage Indian attacks
and massacres of innocent settlers. These travesties did not hinder the continued
development of one of the most serene and sanctified natural areas in Jefferson County.
