In this section, teachers will find labs and lessons that may be conducted when visiting Floyds Fork and the Floyds Fork watershed. Each lab write up contains the objective of the lab, materials needed, the procedure, and possible ideas for assessing the students. Some of the labs may require research that will need to be done during or outside of class, for further understanding of the lab and its purpose. The labs deal with several subject areas, including Biology, Chemistry, Integrated Science, Earth Science, and Math. On the Other Subject Area page, teachers will find possible activities listed under various subjects. These activities may be completed in one visit, as these are shorter and require little or no materials.
